Information for our customers, suppliers, and business partners

Please exercise CAUTION with e-mails!

Despite various anti-virus and software protection programs, an e-mail-address belonging to our company has unfortunately been targeted in a phishing attempt.

Although this e-mail-address appeared as the sender, the e-mail did not originate from our employee.

Fraudsters achieve this by routing messages through multiple servers and IP addresses to mask the true sender’s identity.

Our CIO has ruled out a hacking-attack on our system; however, as a precaution, the affected e-mail-address has been secured with a new password.

Our system was not hacked (meaning the data privacy of the information we hold was not compromised); rather, one or more unknown parties are “spoofing” our e-mail-address, even though the actual sender is someone else entirely.

Even though this was not a hacking-attack, we would like to advise you to exercise great caution regarding any recent e-mails from our company.

Important steps to take:

  • Simply ignore and delete the e-mail
  • Do not click on anything
  • Do not follow any instructions contained in the e-mail

If you did attempt to open the file, follow the link, or perform similar actions, please contact your internal IT department or IT consultant to ensure your data remains secure. If you have received any e-mails from us that appear suspicious or unusual, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. We would be happy to assist you.
